Syd works at a photography magazine and is trying to move beyond an assistant role when a leak in her apartment leads her upstairs to Lucy Berliner, a photographer who has withdrawn from the art world. Syd sees a chance to bring Lucy’s work back into public view, while Lucy’s household and relationship with Greta complicate the professional arrangement.
