Molly arrives for a shift at a small Manhattan brothel and follows the procedures that organise the day. She prepares rooms, keeps track of money, negotiates with clients and shares information with the other workers while the manager controls schedules and fees. The film stays within the workplace as repeated transactions reveal how time, safety and income are divided among the people doing the labour.
